Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses
Defining the data architecture framework, standards and principles, including modelling, metadata, security, reference data such as product codes and client categories, and master data such as clients, vendors and employees
Defining reference architecture, which is a pattern that other can follow to create and improve data systems aligning with industry standards
Defining data flows, i.e., which parts of the organization generate data, which require data to function, how data flows are managed, and how data changes in transition
Collaborating and coordinating with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors
Designing architecture solutions that are in line with long-term business objectives
Developing data management projects that move a company closer to its future goals
Designing a data infrastructure that supports complex data analytics services
Providing technical leadership and direction for a company's engineering teams
Building effective relationships with senior technical staff so that there is a common understanding of goals and challenges
Meeting with clients or executive team members to engage in architectural and requirement analysis discussions
Creating diagrams that show key data entities and creating an inventory of the data needed to implement solutions
Helping to maintain the integrity and security of the company's database
Engage with the projects, understand requirements and identify design and implementation tasks to deliver the required solution.

Support Incident, Service, change and release management as per the ITIL framework and SNOW process.
Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading tasks
Database Backup and Recovery
Security audit log monitoring assessing anomalies
Authentication process and user IAM
Capacity planning for storage and other resource utilization assessment
Performance monitoring and raising risk
Database tuning and troubleshooting DB related issues
DB encryption at REST and in transit
Support application migration and implementation
DB replication configuration and troubleshooting
DB Synchronisation configuration and validation
Check Failed SQL Agent Jobs
Check Index Fragmentation
Patch Management and maintenance activities to ensure service availability
Manage change process and change activities.
Proven hands-on MSSQL/Oracle Database experience
