Electrical Maintenance Engineer - DAYS
Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire
£35,000 - £37,500
Alecto Recruitment is looking to speak with Electrical bias and Electrical Maintenance Engineers and Technicians of all experience levels to join a leading agricultural manufacturing company in the Scunthorpe area.
Working in a team of 4, you will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to a wide range of production and processing machinery to maximise production and ensure efficiency and H&S standards are maintained.
Please note this role requires sharing an on-call rota of 1 in 3 including weekends. Overtime rates up to x2.0 are paid if called out and standby cover paid.
Excellent opportunity for experienced Engineers to move ultimately progress into the role of Engineering Manager once established and fully trained.
Role Profile
Fault finding and ensuring optimisation of machinery and production output.
Supporting Engineering Manager in creating capital plans and budget.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to production machinery.
Resolving plant breakdowns and minimising machinery downtime due to electrical failure.
Monitoring plant conditions.
Ensure safety of electrical and mechanical plant.Engineer Profile
Electrical bias and 3-5 years+ experience carrying out industrial factory based electrical maintenance tasks.
Open to hearing from Electrical Engineers and Technicians at all levels including recently apprentice trained up to time served.
Ideally qualified Level 3 NVQ or ONC Electrical Engineering.
Can commute to Scunthorpe area.
