Role: Junior CAD / Trainee CAD Designer

This is a new opportunity for an experienced and proven Junior CAD/ Trainee CAD Designer to join an expanding electrical company in Southampton. They seek an experienced Junior CAD or Trainee CAD designer that has a proven track record in electrical design.

To be considered you must have some Electrical understanding and a background in 2D AutoCAD.

Skills and experience required for the junior/trainee CAD Designer:
* Aspiring CAD Designer
* Electrical background
* Proficient in 2D AutoCAD - can be through degree or work experience

The role of the junior/trainee CAD Designer:
* You will be producing schematic/electrical schematic 2D drawings and working closely with Engineers and other team members
* Producing drawings for power systems control panels
* Draughting on 2D AutoCAD
* Working within a tight-knit design team
* Opportunities for progression and technical development

Benefits:
* Hours: Start / finish times - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
* Salary: Up to £30k per year
* 20 days annual leave + bank holiday
* Temporary contract or permanent role
