Our client is a world leading manufacturer of high-quality laser systems for scientific and biomedical applications. As an Optics Technician, you will play an important role in producing their products which are renowned for their ground-breaking technology and reliability and are used in some of the most cutting-edge technology in the world. Due to increased business growth, there is an exciting opportunity to join their sub-assembly team.
As an Optics Technician you will work closely as part of a small team responsible for preparing the optical sub-assemblies of our client's lasers; including cutting, cleaning and mounting optics and associated mechanical parts. You will need to have strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination skills and be dedicated to ensuring that work is completed to specifications and to the best quality possible.
Previous experience of assembly of small, intricate, high value mechanical parts is essential for this role. No specific qualifications are required.
