Business Director - Fashion Brands. London. FTC / Freelance - £85K DOE

This creative agency are looking for a Business Director to work for fantastic fashion clients: full brand relaunches from strategy to creative and delivery; collaborative, people-centric culture.

You will be helping lead and shape the portfolio we enter into creative and setting ways of working with a new team

  • Lead the team across the brands, level activities across TV, OOH, digital and social
  • Be the senior partner to our clients across the portfolio, developing relationships and trust at this senior level, turning business challenges into workstreams and ultimate outputs to drive brand success
  • Ensuring excellence in day-to-day delivery, spotting opportunities to expand the relationship
  • Working closely with strategy, creative & production teams to implement improvements in process to strive for industry-leading work
  • Building strong relationships with clients and with third parties (media agency)
  • Management and oversight of portfolio finances & retainer - forecasting to senior leadership, keeping track of efficiencies, adjustment and management of budgets
  • Business development across the portfolio - recognize and action opportunities for additional business
  • Manage, inspire & develop a high performing team of ADs and AMs including learning and development plans, appraisals etc
  • Supporting on new business pitches across the wider agency when needed

Desired Experience
  • At least 10 years' experience on TTL campaigns including ATL and social
  • Proactive, positive and solutions driven approach, taking curve balls in their stride
  • A strong knowledge of brand, content and communications strategy and ability to work closely with Strategy Director and Comms Strategists
  • Experience across fashion or lifestyle brands would be ideal, however complimentary category experience would also be advantageous. An interest in fashion is a must.
  • A proven track record in building brilliant & effective senior relationships with clients, colleagues & 3rd party partners
  • Someone who can flick between thinking strategically, creatively, commercially and with a production hat on
  • A track record of hitting/exceeding forecast and building and delivering against busines development plans
  • Strong creative appreciation, previous experience on an aesthetically driven account would be ideal
  • Great financial acumen, with experience managing portfolio retainers across multiple brands - regular forecasting, efficiency driving based on financial health of account
  • Can build and maintain senior relationships - ability to flex style to suit different personalities
  • Someone who can inspire their team, while being the driving force for world-class creative delivery
