ROLE - Senior Electromechanical Design EngineerSALARY - £38,000- £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)TYPE - PermanentLOCATION - Hampshire My client provides bespoke products and engineering solutions for Manufacture. They are looking for a Senior Electromechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Hampshire area on a permanent basis.The Senior Electromechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• BSc or BEng qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering / Mechanical/Electrical Design / Industrial Design / Engineering Design or similar
• 5 or more years' industry experience ideally working in a similar design / development role within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient with using ideally SolidWorks software for design
• Confident understanding of electrical systems and design
• Able to manage projects and work to deadlines and budgets
• Experienced designing products from concept to production
• Able to maintain technical documentation and BOM entry
• Knowledge of different materials such as sheet metal fabrication
• Innovative and passionate about design
• Be technically minded with a head for problem solving
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Able to work well individually as well as part of a team

The Senior Electromechanical Design Engineer role will involve:

• Being responsible for the Design and Development of various products and systems
• Using SolidWorks CAD software for design on a day-to-day basis
• Developing ideas from concept to production
• Creating models/prototypes
• Liaising with clients and developing solutions
• Collaborating with different departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects
• Maintaining technical drawings and documentation
• Providing technical guidance and support
• Supporting product Testing, Verification & Validation
• Supporting more junior members of the team
