Cisco Network Lead

Reed Technology Cardiff are working on a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Network Engineer to join the Infrastructure team of an Education establishment. This is a fantastic opportunity for you if you are a Network Engineer, ideally with Cisco DNA & Cisco ISE experience, who would like to progress into a Network Architect role.

Salary - £43-50k+ excellent benefits including 35 days' holiday (excluding BH and Xmas shut down days), flexible working, pension

Location - Cardiff/Newport (hybrid working - occasional travel to the office)

This is a key role where you will be leading the technical deployment and implementation of the IT department strategy. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, security and delivery of the network and communication services as well as producing technical specifications for new implementations, network solution architecture and inputting into service design.

What you'll need:

• Previous experience within a Network Engineer position
• Experience of implementing software defined architecture - DNAC and ISE (essential), ACI (preferable)
• Cloud networking experience (AWS/Azure) with an understanding of inter-site connection techniques
• CCNA/CCNP certification desirable
