Elite have partnered with a cool and upcoming Fottwear brand on the highstrreThe Global Product Merchandising team are looking for a numerical and analytical graduate with love for product to help and support the team with market research and focused analysis of both our global Women's and Men's ranges.You'll be at your best in a busy environment and love the idea of scoping your career as an evolving Global Product Merchandiser assistant. This role is about the admin maintenance as well as competitors' analysis and benchmarking, which means you'll feel at home working with excel and be excited by looking into market analysis to assist PM with range planning.They are looking for someone smart, ambitious and above all curious to learn and build a career in product merchandising. The Responsibilities:
- Managing and driving the admin side for the product merchandising department season on season by product categories maintenance
- Support the Product Merchandiser mastering competitors and pricing analysis by market and helping consolidation of market needs to support range planning at brief stage.
- Managing seasonal market research, highlight to PM key opportunities of growth, any shift in the marketplace and competitors focus.
- Support Product Merchandiser to create and maintain all selling tools and information for Wholesale and digital partners during collection Key meetings and to Design and Product Development during proto & product reviews.
- Collaborating closely with Product Development tracking buy ready and any potential risk to the collection.
- Support Product Merchandiser to consolidate seasonal lessons learnt by market.
- Manage Samples process for Product Merchandising department.
- Knowledge and passion of the competitive landscape with footwear.
- Organised, numerical & analytical - able to draw quick conclusions from data.
- Good eye for product demonstrating excellent commercial awareness within Footwear markets.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel & proficiency in spreadsheet analyses (reporting and handling big data amount, executing pivots and other analysis) as well as Word and Power Point.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present and map complex business solutions and processes.
- Comfortable to build relationships with piers.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as being a self-motivated individual.
- Ability to handle pressure while working on multiple tasks to hit tight deadlines by providing high quality work results.
- Quick to learn new systems and tools who embraces the hands-on, dynamic, and fast paced work environment.
- Strong product affinity.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, any additional EU languages is a plus.
- Positive mindset, entrepreneurial thinker, embracing change and taking new ways to reach targets.
