Reporting to the Digital Manager, the purpose of the role will involve creating content for web and social media - video, audio (including podcasts) animation, photos and written content.
The role holder will effectively engage through multiple channels with a variety of audiences. This includes:
- potential students
- potential training course customers
- various stakeholder groups (academia, industry, government)
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in communicating the changing face of SRUC, in particular our new and existing course offering across further and higher education. It is a key part of our growth agenda - we are making a major investment to increase student numbers in the next decade, and this role is one of a number of roles focused on realising that ambition.
To be considered, you should be educated to degree level in a related subject (preferably in digital media, communication or marketing). Applicants with equivalent experience may be considered.
You will also be expected to demonstrate solid knowledge & experience of social media content creation, including photo and video (storyboarding, filming and editing), and experience across the main social media channels/content platforms we use (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo). The role will involve travel to our various campuses across Scotland to capture student, animal, academic and other content through high quality video and photos.
