Service Delivery Manager - ITIL - Inside IR35 - Banking

London base 2 days a week and the rest remote.

The role

The primary objective of the role is to ensure that the department delivers a high-quality service to colleagues and customers. The focus of the role is to manage day to day service delivery including problem, incident and change management, embed risk management in our processes and play an active role in operational resilience.

In addition, the role holder will also provide leadership for service management across technology and operations, introducing and embedding appropriate tools and processes to enhance our service capability in this area.

Develop and maintain appropriate KPIs, and produce regular MI reporting, to track and maintain service performance.

Experience
  • Excellent service management and support experience, including tools and processes
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures
  • Experience of building effective working relationships with immediate colleagues, business teams and 3rd parties; can support other staff
  • Understanding of operation and administration of the systems used in the financial sector
  • Broad IT knowledge across infrastructure & applications
  • Good problem diagnostic skills, ability to influence and explain complex challenges in a simple, concise fashion
  • Owning the development and implementation of policies and procedures across relevant Service Management pillars (including incident, problem and change management)
