This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic IT professional to take their next step in Project Management and Quality Assurance with an expanding company in North West London, led by a management team with a strong history of delivering high quality technical solutions to Public and Private sector clients.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work alongside the Project & Development teams. Our business comprises of in-house, development, support staff and project managers who deal with a wide range of in-house systems and transactional websites.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious, self-motivated, intelligent and articulate individual with a can-do approach. You will be expected to be part of a locally based team scoping & delivering software and systems developed within our JavaScript, Android, HTML and MySQL platforms. Whilst you will be expected to gain an understanding of these languages, it is just as important to gain detailed working knowledge of the systems we develop, market & support.

This role will involve significant interaction with clients & internal technical staff to ensure the business meets its project obligations included in its contractual Service Level Agreements, you will become part of a close knit team, both a willing to learn attitude and team spirit are essential.

Experience: Knowledge and experience of a formal project management methodology.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in project management and quality assurance in a growing business working in an intimate team environment. The Business has developed a suite of products for public sector clients and we are ever expanding both client base and product range. We are looking to recruit an individual who can take ownership of a project and assist the programme manager ensuring client needs & internal resources are aligned.

Our clients are primarily Local Government & Suppliers to Local Government.

The objective of the role is:

• Ensure the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain project plans.
• Assist Team Managers with Quality Assurance
• Demonstrate the product to client
• Assist in building test scripts and prepare test scripts for the client
• Co-ordinate the production of all reports and produce project summary reports.
• Maintain risk and issue logs and change control records.
• Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the project teams.
• Addressing client complaints in a respectful and timely manner, and ensuring that the organisation maintains a positive image and provides high-quality services

Desirable Skills:

• JavaScript
• HTML
• MySQL platforms.
• Microsoft Project/Excel
• PRINCE 2/AGILE or equivalent project management qualifications

Our normal business hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm.

London - Kings Cross/Euston

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Guide - £35,000 to £40,000 subject to experience.
