Contract International Business Analysis Manager/Lead for Broadcast Media Applications.
Hybrid working from West London / Home. This is a 12 month contract (Outside ir35) looking for someone who comes from a strong Business Analyst background and has experience Managing/leading/Influencing a BA team and has experience gained within the broadcast media Applications environment (ideally working across broadcast airtime sales Ad/Sales Applications or Broadcast Management Systems applications). The team of BA's are based in the UK and internationally, so international experience is also strongly desired. The International analyst team has expanded rapidly to work on a large application technology migration programme as part of post merger broadcast integration. Part of the role will focus on guiding and influencing the team to meet certain quality and standards, working consistently and establish agile best practice, timely delivery of Analysis, knowledge sharing and help grow and re-shuffle team demand/resource management as required for the programme. This is partially hands on Business Analyst work (20%) for specific problematic or complex area's of the programme.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

-Essential to have lead a team of analysts in a challenging organisation + 5+ years of prior relevant experience in analysis or related field
-A detailed understanding of Broadcast media and digital workflows an advantage
-Desirable to have exposure of International organisations across EMEA and APAC regions
-Strong use of agile practices
-Demonstrated experience of partnering with leaders at all levels of the organization
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate
-Superb communications skills both verbal and written Skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Extremely strong interpersonal skills for liaison across all levels of the business (to EVP level)
- Superb communication skills, written and oral

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a relevant subject

Responsibilities include:

- Management/Leadership of the International Analysis team
- Ensuring standards are maintained and enhanced as needed
- Active lead analyst and overseeing the Analyst team
- Working with Product Owner/s on story/Epic creation from draft to final stories
- BA peer review of stories
- Quality Assurance of stories pre quality gate check by lead BA to ensure consistency and prevent contradictions
- Makes suggestions or recommendations for the story that will efficiently fulfill the business need/objectives
- Captures stories/Epics in JIRA
- Review of stories with Product Owner and end users
- Refinement of stories with Product owner and end users
- Updates draft story to finalized version in Jira
- Gets agreement and sign off of stories with Product owner and end users
- Creates user training materials, based on guidance from Product owner on what types of stories require material, for every release
- Ensures change management when required for new business processes and business functions is planned and delivered
