Length:- Initial 3 Month Contract
Location:- Bedford
Rate:- £28.64ph Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Proposed start date:- 6th June 2022

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR & Payroll Transactions Team Leader to join the team of a public sector organisation based in Bedford.

Job Purpose
To manage and control all aspects of the Payroll and HR Transactions function for the organisation.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Direct, Lead, Manage and Coach the Payroll and HR Transactions team; setting clear targets, undertaking PDRs, identifying training needs, ensuring team are up to date with relevant information, undertaking recruitment of new team members and disciplining of staff.
Manage the control and reporting of all payrolls.
Control of payment reconciliations and returns.
Prepare reports for the manager and management team.
Balance payroll accounts.To be suitable for this opportunity; the following qualifications or experience is required:

Strong payroll knowledge.
Experience of managing and reconciling a large payroll, 10,000 employees a month.
HR & Payroll system knowledge is essential.
Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage and develop a team.
Ability to resolve and reconcile issues with no supervision.
Must be highly competent in analysis and interpretation of information.
