English Teacher - SEMH School
This established SEMH school is looking to add an experienced English Teacher to the team on an ongoing basis. As an English Teacher at this fantastic school you will be teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 English to small classes of students with SEMH needs. Good classroom management skills are essential for this role as you will be supporting children that have struggled to engage with education. The school are looking for an English Teacher who is able to "think outside the box" and use creative methods to help students to enjoy English lessons.

You will be joining a small, but experienced team of teaching and support staff who are passionate about what they do. There is an abundance of support available from the pastoral and leadership teams, allowing you to focus on delivering the best lessons possible. This school has a track record of achieving great results within the SEMH sector and enabling students to continue their journey in education.
Job role:

Delivering English up to GCSE to small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students
Working with TA's and the pastoral team to support students' needs
Implementing a range of de-escalation and classroom management techniques
Working with the HOD to tailor the curriculum to support needs of students
Taking part in whole school activities and reward daysIn return you will enjoy:
