With the fantastic reputation and relationships we have built over the years with our partnership schools in the North East, the Education Network are currently seeking to recruit qualified KS2 Teachers to support a number of schools around the Gateshead area on a supply basis.
Due to the recent growth and unprecedented number of requirements for supply staff across our schools and academies across the North East, we are looking for candidates that would be free to cover on a short and long term basis in the Gateshead area. We have roles coming in on the daily in Years 1 and 2. Previous experience in different key stages would be advantageous however, we can prioritise work for you dependant on your experience and preference. You would never be forced to work in a role that you weren't comfortable with.
We are looking for candidates that would be free to cover on a short and long term basis in the Gateshead area with work available 1-5 days per week or when required by schools.
NQT's are encouraged to apply but experience is necessary. The ideal candidate must be good with behavioural management. We are looking for individuals who are warm, approachable and can work under their own initiative to create an welcoming environment.
To be considered for the role we would first ask that you meet the following criteria:
You must be willing to complete registration with ourselves so that you are clear to work in primary schools from a compliance perspective.
You must be qualified teach primary education within the UK.
Be flexible with working patterns.
Relevant experience working with key stage 2 pupils is essential.
Full and clear DBS check preferably on the online update system (or be willing to undertake one).
Have genuine enthusiasm and care for the development of children in an educational setting.
professional references that cover you for the last 2 years (one of which must be education based).
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.This post is subject to Enhanced Disclosure Procedures and references.
