Are you an experienced Delivery Manager with working knowledge of Island Pacific or SAP?If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Here at Signet Jewelers we have a new opportunity available for a Delivery Manager to join us and take responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of 'back of house' platforms which include but are not limited to WMS/PPD, ERP, finance and data reporting platforms. As Delivery Manager you'll report into our Head of Delivery and Technology and will have a team of two Developers as direct reports. A focus on timely delivery, quality, efficiency and building a high calibre delivery and engineering team along with effective stakeholder management across our customer channels will be key to success in this role.

Responsibilities of this role will include:• Providing thought leadership, contributing to the long term business plan and owning the back of house delivery plan.• Partnering with key stakeholders across the business, shaping plans, managing expectations and providing advice / guidance.• Delivery of change through most appropriate delivery framework.• Managing and developing a small team of Developers / the internal engineering team, creating a culture of 'customer first', excellence, high calibre and innovation.• Managing small projects within the domain including full release and implementation management for the domain. • Managing all application technology platforms ensuring vendor roadmap, critical maintenance and upgrades are included in the planning. • Managing third party supplier relationships• Implementing appropriate controls, governance, policies and reporting.• Continuous improvement and maturity of the delivery and engineering functions.• Ensure close collaboration with our US IT team in the delivery of change.

About YouSuitable applicants will be experienced as follows:• Proven ability in road map creation and programme management.• Demonstrable understanding of 'development' and 'quality assurance' and working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery techniques.• Proven ability to successfully manage engineering teams and build high-calibre co-sourced teams. • Demonstrable working knowledge of an ERP (preferably Island Pacific and / or SAP) and reporting suites.• Strong business acumen with a proven ability to balance risk and support decision making.• Proven negotiating and influencing skills.• Good written communication skills with the ability to produce high quality documentation.• Effective relationship building skills.

Please note: This role requires participation in our 'out of hours' management rota, to help incident manage and / or provide regular updates to senior stakeholders in the event of a business impacting issue.
