Location: London or Sheffield / Hybrid Working

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)

THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior lawyer to join us as the Director and Head of Debt and Guarantee Schemes within our Legal team. The role is to provide and manage and oversee legal support, and to provide oversight of legal risk, to the product teams within the Bank delivering the Covid Guarantee Schemes and their predecessor and successor schemes, ENABLE Funding, ENABLE Guarantees, BBI debt and to support the activities of the wider Legal and Governance team.

Knowledge and experience in one or more of corporate, commercial, financial regulation/funds and finance essential. This position would suit an experienced lawyer with 15+ years PQE, with In-house and/or private practice experience of advising on and managing complex projects and transactions within the financial services or commercial sector.
