Interim Accountant

I am delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a high growth business based in Warrington who are looking for an Interim Accountant to join their team for a 12 month fixed term contract.Duties:

• Monthly preparation and review of p&l accounts at a company and branch level
• Controlling month end timetable and providing suggestions for improvements
• Personally responsible for a number of balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing company balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the team
• Review of quarterly VAT return
• Lead preparation and submission of corporation tax return with external advisers
• Review of daily and weekly sales reports
• Review of management accounts
• Critical monthly review of margin generated by ERP system and challenging issues with system provider/IT
• Working with other central functions e.g. internal audit, commercial, AP
• Ad hoc projects to improve existing processes, as and when required

Person Specification:

• 5 years PQE (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Immediately available/available on short notice
