Graduate Teaching Assistant Specification

We are currently hiring university graduates for Teaching Assistant jobs in primary schools across South London in September 2022.

The Role of a Teaching Assistant is to support the main classroom teacher delivering their lesson plans. You will be working on a 1 to 1 and group basis with students helping them with their classwork, keeping them focused and encouraging a positive learning environment. Some children you work with with have SEN and therefore require extra or 1 to 1 support.

As a graduate Teaching Assistant prior experience is not required, however additional skills such as arts & crafts, sports, music and additional extra-curricular activities are greatly appreciated.

Graduate Teaching Assistant Summary

These are Teaching Assistant roles open to graduates that are confident in their ability to help young students achieve their best.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a school and a brilliant taste of what a future career in education could be like. It's an exceptional opportunity for anyone thinking of teaching as a career.

We will be holding interview days with Headteachers and SENCo's of the school throughout May and hosting open days as well. If you think this Teaching Assistant Role is right for you or would like more information then apply today.
