Central Employment are working alongside an established and fast growing in-house Marketing team, part of a eCommerce Retailer based in Gateshead. They have a new requirement for a data driven and creative Social Media & Influencer Executive.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about social media with a proven track record but also a keen interest in marketing overall. It is best suited to someone who is confident in managing their own workload, is proactive and can hit the ground running with the support of the Head of Marketing.

Key responsibilities:
  • Create and execute social media content plans across multiple channels for the four brands, as well as engaging with our audiences and sourcing UGC.
  • Working with the Head of Marketing to develop social media strategies to drive growth, increased revenue and engagement.
  • Source and manage influencers, from nano level to celebrity, building relationships and creating key partnerships.
  • Create social media and influencer reports to effectively evaluate performance, monitor ROI and develop future plans for success.

Experience required:
  • Proven track record of success within social media marketing and influencer marketing in a B2C environment.
  • Ability to analyse and report on performance using social media metrics and tools for measurement including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and other social listening tools.
  • Creative flare and ability to use creative tools such as Photoshop and Canva, as well as create engaging content for reels, videos and stories.
  • A keen eye for detail and an interest in photography and videography.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice from brand to brand.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Approachable and a can-do attitude.

You'll stand out if you have any of the following:
  • A recognised marketing qualification.
  • General knowledge and/or experience in other areas of digital marketing.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of paid social advertising.
  • Prior experience of creating social media strategies.
  • An interest in eCommerce and Retail.
  • Photography and videography experience.
