Growing FinTech requires an Application Support Analyst to provide support to their finance customers, banks and corporates. You'll gain exposure to finance systems, processes and data. For the talented and ambitious, the progression opportunities are many and varied.

The job comes with a starting salary of up to £35K p.a. with generous benefits, including a bonus, flexible working, rising pension contribution, 25 days holiday (with an option to buy/sell up to 5 days), income protection, medical insurance etc.

This would suit you if you have a science, technical, engineering or maths degree, a great aptitude and interest in technology, and a strong customer service ethic.

Required skills and experience for Application Support Analyst
  • A STEM degree (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths)
  • SQL, able to use different functions to query and manipulate data
  • Ideally some knowledge of SFTP, XML, ITIL, Jira, SWIFT, or ActiveBatch

Primary responsibilities as Application Support Analyst
  • 1st and 2nd line applications supporting a global client base
  • Analysing customer data and providing audit information
  • Monitoring system application and infrastructure health
  • Aiding onboarding new customers with application configuration
  • Teamwork and learning new technologies

The application support analyst works a shift rota covering 6 am to 11 pm as follows:
  • Three days a week normal shifts (9 am> 5.30 pm)
  • One day a week early shift (6 am> 2.30 pm)
  • One day a week late shift (2.30 pm> 11 pm)
