Machine Operator

* Experience working within steel.* Experience of operating machines like Bandsaws or guillotines.* Experience of working on cast steel or fettling welds.Lodestone Recruitment are looking for a Machine Operator for a Sheffield based steel company.Lodestone Recruitment is partnered with a local manufacturing business in Sheffield who is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent position working on regular days.Candidates must have the following, although training will be provided:* Prior experience of operating Bandsaws like Behringer, Kasto, Prosaw or Danobats would be an advantage but not essential.* Experience of operating machines or working within steel (full training will be given).* Good knowledge of Maths and calculations is essential.In return, the company offers the following:* Permanent position* Salary - £20,800 - £21,294 with bonuses* Weekly pay with additional team based production bonus which are also paid weekly.* Regular days - 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday* Easy parking and facilities onsite.To be considered for this Machine Operator position please click 'apply' now for immediate consideration.
