An exciting opportunity has become available for an individual to join our International Cyber Insurance Wholesale team as a placement broker. The ideal candidate will have client service skills and ideally experience placing cyber insurance for a range of industries and sectors. Within the role you will have the responsibility of executing client servicing tasks and supporting WTW colleagues Internationally in support of their portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for retention and placement.

The Role

Client Relationship Management
  • Understand the clients' business, objectives and risk management needs and look for solutions through the provision of ongoing service
  • Execute the account service strategy for individual clients in line with Business Unit (BU) process
  • Draw on expertise from specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group for clients as required
  • Client service and relationship development with producing offices, direct clients and other stakeholders

Broking and Servicing
  • Prepare client and prospect presentations
  • Work with other colleagues and stakeholders in determining appropriate strategy and solutions for structuring and pricing each placement
  • Participate in executing the placement strategy
  • Participate in wording discussions with insurers and producing offices with the support of lead brokers and GB Cyber's Coverage Specialists
  • Participate in information gathering exercises
  • Contribute to the development of non-account-specific Cyber & TMT initiatives
  • Assist in achieving the goals and objectives of the Cyber & TMT Insurance Practice and FINEX GB as well as contribute to the goals and objectives of the Global Cyber Insurance Practice
  • Adhere to WTW policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements

Placement Management
  • Work with senior colleagues in the development of service plans that define the engagement and timing of engagement with the client
  • Adhere to KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are met
  • Assist in processing insurance contracts as per FCA and contract certainty requirements
  • Understand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and procedures
  • Loading of data into the relevant WTW systems
  • Support and deliver the end-to-end ongoing client service
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting and tracking of revenue activities
  • Ensure adherence to Group policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements

The Requirements
  • Preferably ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualification
  • Client executive experience preferred
  • Experience in broking Financial Lines insurance preferrable and ideally with experience in Cyber insurance
  • A focus on excellence and a track record of delivering high levels of client service
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Advocacy and sales skills - demonstrated interest and ability to win new business
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web-based applications
  • Solution focused with a personal drive to achieve significant change in relatively short periods of time, and able to motivate teams to focus and deliver on priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Able to prioritise, manage deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues and underwriters
  • Clear and compelling communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
  • Business and political awareness
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists
  • Holds all regulatory licences, permissions and technical or other requirements applicable under UK legislation and FCA rules and guidelines
  • Language skills are advantageous but not critical
