An overview of the role:
Capgemini is looking to expand our Capital Markets domain practice. We deliver several large transformation programs for the top investment banks, asset management firms and private banks globally. The candidate is required to work closely with Capgemini colleagues and clients, as a member of the business analyst team typically within or associated with a consulting or delivery engagement. A typical role would be to work as a facilitator between business and information technology team on delivery of business solutions.
Why this role?
• As a requirement engineering expert (BA) you are required to work on the client projects and manage workshops, engage with the business stakeholders covering front to back areas such as Trading and settlements, risk management, investment management, instrument/pricing data management, and assets servicing domain.
• You are expected to demonstrate SME capabilities on one or more asset classes with hands on experience /awareness of business processes and platforms.
• You need to deliver the requirement artifacts such as functional specification document, Use cases, requirement traceability matrix, business test cases and process mapping documents, user stories for agile projects. Support business testing/UAT and help obtain business sign off.
• Work with the global/remote technology teams while acting as a SPOC for clients/business stakeholders.
• Communicate the impact of emerging technologies to clients and advise upon the potential introduction of such technology.
• Undertake feasibility studies for major IT developments incorporating costs and benefits, and present proposals to clients.
• Support business development teams to mine and grow opportunities.
• Bring in thought leadership in niche areas and industry trends(ESG investments, blockchain/DEFI, Analytics supporting AI use cases) by producing artefacts and conducting knowledge sessions.

Why you?
• In-depth experience in either one of Cash, Listed or OTC derivatives asset classes. Trade Life-Cycle, pricing and valuation, clearing framework.
• Hands-on experience working on trading platform such as Calypso, Murex, Summit etc. is an advantage.
• Experience working on front to back programmes with complex architecture with multiple up/downstream involved.
• Ability to work with end users in global locations to define business requirements using techniques such as user stories / use cases.
• Knowledge of prevailing and upcoming regulatory landscape and ability to produce base level specification through research and regulatory sources.
• Flexible mindset to perform cross domain (payments, corporate and digital/retail banking projects) as per client needs.
• Strong ability to describe requirements and functions to developers.
• Experience of working in an agile delivery environment.
• Ability to engage with upstream teams that provide data.
• Demonstrable experience in areas like collateral management transaction lifecycle, risk management & compliance (Basel II, III FSA regulation...etc), Credit and counterparty risk identification and measurement, Market Risk identification and measurement, Liquidity risk measurement, reporting and management, Risk Regulation & Compliance, Risk Governance, Strategy and Policy.
• Certifications such as IIBA, CFA, FRM etc. would support the application however not mandatory.
