An overview of the role
We're looking for a talented and ambitious Documentum Architect to join our Insights & Data Global Business Line. Data and Information are driving huge growth in all industries and we are looking for someone who can lead challenging and complex delivery projects using the OpenText Documentum products. Initially you'll be working in a project to deliver a Documentum platform for customers in our Public Sector business, meaning you will need to have Developed Vetting clearance.

The work
Within Insights & Data in Capgemini we recognise the need for our customers to manage and gain value from all their Data, whether it is structured or unstructured. As a Documentum Architect you will be responsible for delivering complex projects which help our customers to improve the way they manage and share information, both internally and externally.

As a vital part of our business unit, you'll contribute to first-class end-to-end solutions in your assignments. You will play an active role in defining our practices, standards and ways of working, and apply them to your role. Be open to working across organisation and team boundaries to ensure we bring the best to our customers.

Why this role?
In Capgemini we deliver projects for customers across all industries including Public Sector, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities and Consumer Products.

Initially you will be working on a project in Public Sector for one of our Central Government clients. As existing Documentum user they are looking to transform and modernise the way they manage their information. Your role will be as the Functional Architect to lead the stream of work on how they manage their critical documents.

You will be responsible for designing and architecting the functional aspects of the solution including upgrading their core Documentum platforms. This is a critical project for our customer and as the Lead Architect you will play a pivotal role.

Why you?
We are looking for someone who is experienced in the delivery of Documentum projects who has a strong focus on the functional aspects of such projects. You will need to be experienced in delivering projects with products such as Documentum D2, WDK, Documentum Records Manager and Content Intelligence Services. In addition we are looking for the following:
  • Familiarity with the design of Documentum web services including Documentum & CMIS RESTful services and integration with end-user applications.
  • Design of applications using Java/J2EE technologies, with Spring boot and creating RESTful web services.
  • Familiarity with defining custom Documentum UI solution using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and AngularJS in Service Oriented Architecture and REST.
  • Architecting solutions to integrate LoB systems with Documentum via ESB or API;
  • Depth of experience working with helping clients to define their roadmap for upgrading between Documentum versions and exploring opportunities to revise, replatform and modernize customisations.

We are also looking for someone who is comfortable working in a multi-supplier environment, working closely with our customer and our partners to understand the core principles of secure delivery, and how they need to be applied to a Documentum implementation.
