What will you contribute?

As Finance Business Partner Lead, you will be a dynamic and experienced professional, reporting to the Finance Business Partner for the Treasury and Capital Markets Business Unit.

In this role, you will partner with senior leaders in the Treasury and Capital Markets Business Unit to drive business performance across all areas, focusing on recurring revenue and cost control.

You will build strong, positive and influential relationships with the various business partners to provide financial guidance and direction.

Strategic Goals & Deliverables:
  • Providing full financial support to the Treasury and Capital Markets (TCM) business unit applying current financial and accounting standards, policies, and controls, producing robust business plans, budgets and quarterly forecasts, becoming a proactive and trusted advisor to the business
  • Maintains, produces, and communicates a relevant and impactful set of project and operational metrics designed to support evaluation of financial performance consistent with the TCM business unit
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of the TCM business unit to provide adequate support to business partners across the organization
  • Ensuring strong financial controls are in place to ensure confidence in data being provided
  • Being a key knowledge contributor to the broader Global Finance team

  • Relationship management of key ELT stakeholders in TCM and act as trusted Finance partner by using key financial insights to direct, influence, and shape the overall direction of the function
  • Ownership of monthly revenue reporting, providing actionable insights and detail on performance for key customers
  • Participate and lead, where necessary, in forecasting review meetings with Corporate FP&A
  • Act as a first point of review by understanding drivers of change vs plan and forecast for TCM business unit concerning its operating functions
  • Translating results of analysis on Operational KPIs and Financial performance into valuable insights and actionable recommendations for business, including to achieve budget plans
  • Demonstrating in-depth understanding of the business, the impact of industry trends and priorities, and supports and guides TCM leadership team through financial and business decisions
  • Understand partners' priorities and act as a co-pilot to guide them through financial and business decisions on investments and structural projects, ensuring its aligned to TCM's strategic priorities and delivers the required level of financial benefits

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrates strong writing, analytical, and oral presentation skills
  • Expertise with excel modelling and utilization of financial systems
  • Experience in a matrix organization
  • Strategic data and process-oriented thinker
  • Ability to influence and persuade
  • Very high level of business acumen - must be commercially & organizationally savvy and financially astute
  • Must be tech-savvy and comfortable within today's agile, digitized, interconnected world

  • Chartered Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) - 5+ years PQE
