· Translation of customer requirements into solutions that best leverage the chosen cloud platform functionality, apply systems design strategies and patterns, such as adaptability, scalability, availability, and reusability. Identify the best migration strategy when applicable

· Ensure that the solution accurately reflects and meets the defined expectations of the customer.

· Define project scope and objectives; develop detailed work plans, schedules and effort.

· Advise and recommend solution architecture strategies, processes and patterns.

· Collaborate with key stakeholders and internal teams to define architecture principles, standards and guidelines, and blueprints.

· Provide oversight of engineers, architects and analysts to ensure adherence to IT principles, policies, standards

· Conduct or actively participate in meetings related to the designated project/s, with clients, partners or other providers.

· Provide leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of an enterprise's solutions architecture, covering all areas of application architecture (frontend, integration, backend).

· Create deliverables that help develop a direction for managing an organisation's portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions

· Align initiatives and offer innovation by leveraging technology solutions to achieve an organisation's future state architecture.

· The ability to identify the organisational and financial impact of a solutions architecture, and understand the business value associated to the deployment of cloud solutions

· Provide advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks for a solution, taking account of technical and architectural debt.

· Excellent understanding of cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services), design and patterns and migration strategies from legacy to cloud.

· Good understanding of DevOps practices and tools

· Basic understanding of security concepts: WAF, Firewall, VPN

· Good understanding of programming languages and deep technology knowledge

· Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and their practical application.

· Good understanding of application development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture

· Experienced in using interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation

· Strong leadership skills

· Good understanding of agile methods and processes, and the capability to support agile project teams

· Nice to have Insurance background
