Arcadis is looking to hire a Senior Engineer to support the Productivity Services Sharing Services team, working as part of a global team.

As a Senior Engineer you will be joining the team focusing on all the tools and services used to collaborate like SharePoint, OneDrive and the Microsoft Power Platform. The team coordinates the risk, quality, and progress to organizational global standards, and ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope.

Who you are :
  • You have experience working in a global environment, where the management of stakeholders would require flexible working hours, accommodating multiple time-zones.
  • You have excellent organizational and planning skills as well as knowledge of IT governance, principles and policies.
  • You have experience implementing large-scale changes and deployments.

What You'll Own : (Core Responsibilities)
  • Successful delivery, management and optimization of the global services related to the Productivity Services lane.
  • Ensures that appropriate solutions are developed and deployed to meet all agreed business requirements.
  • Assist with products evaluation and -testing, research into emerging technologies and provides input to the tower strategies as required.
  • Assesses solution designs to determine usability; assure that only tested designs are recommended for acquisition / provisioning.
  • Works directly with a managed services provider to collaborate on systems solutions and cooperate in providing support and management of the Productivity Services infrastructure.
  • Ensures that all Productivity Services systems are updated, secure, and performing optimally.
  • Executes the performance and capacity planning processes with relevant IT provider(s).
  • Partners with internal teams and external providers in creation and delivery of future capabilities roadmaps.
  • Access and reviews the infrastructure, providing risk assessments and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assists internal and external staff to address incidents and problems. Is responsible for a direct follow-up with internal customers where appropriate.
  • Meets or outperforms SLAs and OLAs agreed with the business and internal IT support groups.
  • Works with the team to validate SLA metrics provided by external providers and ensures that those are correct. Recommends modifications for reporting purposes or data collection.
  • Partners with security and compliance team to ensure alignment with Arcadis guidelines. Recommends areas of improvements when appropriate.
  • Evaluates and provides techniques for increasing user productivity.
  • Follows ITIL Service-Level Management methodologies encompassing Change, Service, Incident and Problem management.

The ideal candidate should have :
  • Technical Skills
    • Specialized knowledge of ITIL, standards and process frameworks.
    • Infrastructure design and project implementation experience.
    • In depth understanding of relevant operating systems including mobile.
    • Enterprise level experience of OneDrive and SharePoint online.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform.
    • A very good understanding of the Microsoft Cloud offering, Cloud methodologies and knowledge about workloads internal, public and hybrid.
    • Masters PowerShell and other scripting languages.

  • Professional Skills
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills as well as knowledge of IT governance, principles and policies.
    • Ensures the quality and performance of IT solutions.

Required Qualifications :
  • A college degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Relevant working experience (up to 5 years)
  • Has experienced knowledge of relevant technical systems & applications and tooling
