Bookkeeper - Modern, Dynamic Accountancy Firm

My client is a modern, forward thinking firm of Accountants who has experienced significant growth over the past few years. They are now looking for a client focussed Bookkeeper to join their team as they enter the next exciting phase of growth.

This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic firm and work with a great team of people in a varied role where you will have regular client contact.

Responsibilities will include:

• Monthly and quarterly bookkeeping to include bank reconciliations, managing the sales and purchase ledger & accruals and prepayments mainly on Xero.
• Preparation of VAT and CIS returns.
• Liaising with clients regularly and helping with queries

Applicants will need to have recent Bookkeeping experience - ideally gained within an Accountancy Practice. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
