This role is suitable for an accountable individual who can manage their own case-load of major and complex property and business interruptions claims from cradle to grave. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience and a proven track record of handing high value claims. They will have either completed or be committed to completing ACII or ACILA examinations, and have solid understanding of risk and regulation, and be able to adhere to set reporting and claims management requirements.
Some of the key accountabilities are set out below.
- Pro-actively managing a portfolio of HNW and MNW household and commercial claims.
- Dictate the strategy on your portfolio of claims, demonstrating the ability to make good decisions whilst monitoring accurate reserving and controlling claims spend.
- Taking ownership of stakeholder management and communicating regularly with all stakeholders.
- You will be desk and field-based and required to visit the Colchester office once a month.
