Our Bedford based client are experts in a range of handling and fulfilment solutions. They are seeking an Account Manager to develop effective relationships with the company's clients, the primary client face of the business.
Salary: Up to £28,500 PA.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm with 1 hour lunch.

Duties:
- Must have previous experience of client account management
- Manage client expectations.
- Manage internal support provision.
- Manage, retain and ensure appropriate service delivery.
- Build relationships with designated clients.
- Provide information to allow for the monitoring and management of client profitability.
- Assist the CSD with the compilation of departmental reports.
- Brief and check invoices for clients.
- Provide client reporting.
- Work with IT to develop on-line or systemic client reporting.
- Project manage specific client driven activities such as audits, site visits, tours, etc.
- Create job briefs for non-daily-order activity.
- provide a point of escalation for client projects/ongoing activity for all departments
Skills / experience:
- Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Numeracy.
- Computer literacy.
- Lateral thinking.
- Working to deadlines.
- Ability to cope well under pressure.
- Multitasking and prioritisation.
- Show a genuine interest in building relationships.
- Previous Logistic Experience is an advantage.
