We are recruiting for two Assistant Accountants for their Cambridge office, one each for two different teams - one of which is the firms' most profitable divisions - to support the senior management through preparing accounts and appropriate tax for non-audit clients.

Tasks include:

-Drafting initial corporate tax and completing personal tax returns.

-Liaising with clients to initially manage queries, escalating where appropriate.

-Finalise accounts for review and sign off.

-Full responsibility of own assignments ensuring work produced to deadlines and budgets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their finance career, as you will be working with a range of industries and sizes of businesses.

And for those looking to develop management skills, you will in time be required to assist new trainees and junior members of the team.

As this is a crucial part of this well-oiled machine, we are looking only for those with the following to apply:

-AAT/ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified.

-Sound knowledge of VAT.

-Experience of Sage, Xero and/or Quickbooks.

-Demonstratable knowledge and experience of providing accounting services to external clients.
