Description

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Digital Product Manager who can support the development and improvement of a

range of digital products in line with user needs and organisational goals.

Purpose of the role:
  • Support the Head of Experience Design to develop and maintain LEEDS 2023 ONLINE and associated services
  • Manage technical partners and other external relationships.
  • Support the development of the organisation's CRM System
  • Own the roadmap for site development and improvement throughout LEEDS 2023's lifecycle

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Management of LEEDS 2023 ONLINE and associated products within the stack
  • Product Management of LEEDS 2023's CRM System
  • Take a user-centric approach to discovery, using research to test assumptions and validate requirements
  • Produce and prioritise product backlogs and other relevant project documentation
  • Design acceptance criteria and conduct thorough and structured user acceptance testing
  • Develop strong working relationships with digital agencies and partners
  • Develop a deep understanding of products, their context and users - especially how functionality meets or doesn't meet user needs
  • Use data and insight, develop visions for future development of products to deliver greater value to users
  • Keep up to date with emerging digital technologies and best practice in digital development/product management, identifying where we can improve ways of working, innovate and add value for our diverse user base.
  • Ensure effective planning of projects and oversight of resources, both time and budget
  • Regularly review processes and evaluate results to inform ongoing learning and improvement
  • Ensure effective communication across teams
  • Role model design principles and Agile in practice

Profile

Experience:
  • Experience of effectively managing multiple digital products and services in a fast-paced environment

Skills:
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly to communicate technical solutions and their benefits, limits and risks in accessible language to stakeholders with varying technical understanding
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • Excellent team-working, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Adept at using a range of digital systems, applications, software (including CRM) and websites
