They are looking for an experienced Marketing and Events Manager to join their growing team in this newly created role and would suit somebody who wants the opportunity to autonomously lead a marketing function.This role is crucial to ensuring market visibility and supporting the Commercial Team in generating revenue for business growth. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing the strong 30 years + brand heritage, ensuring consistent and confident promotion of products and services.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand IdentityDeveloping 'brand guidelines' and company brand identity through the creation of consistent imagery when communicating internally and externallyCreating and implementing a companywide brand 'purpose'Reviewing and updating company brand logos, slogans and marketing communicationCoaching the importance of brand consistency and communicating the brand purposeReviewing and improving our Employee Value Proposition, including the development of communication material in relation to internal recruitment
Digital MarketingReviewing, updating and improving the imagery & content on our company websiteManaging external suppliers and communication with regards to our SEO, PPC Google campaigns and website hostManaging communication and regularly posting across our company LinkedIn page,Growing the social media presence, including the exploration of other social media channels that are not being utilised (i.e Facebook, Twitter etc)Engaging with divisional teams to collaborate on promotional campaigns and marketing content
EventsManaging the company event calendarCreating promotional content for eventsCommunicating with event spaces / organisations to keep up to date with the latest events and arrange event bookingsAnalysing and communicating the potential ROI of attending events
Budget & analyticsTaking responsibility of a marketing budgetAnalysing and communicating the return on investment of the marketing division
General MarketingManaging the company's media suiteManaging (or delegating through external suppliers) media content through imagery, video recording and video editing of events and promotional materialWorking across business divisions and supporting the set up, promotion and management of sector specific PodcastsInnovating the way that we acquire client and candidate testimonialsManaging the design & production of wider marketing materials, including brochures, whitepapers, case-studies, posters, newsletters, e-newsletters and video content
Desirable knowledgeWebsite content administrationKnowledge (SEO and Ad Word) techniquesExperience Reporting and tracking all marketing activity to ensure that it is delivering a positive ROIExperience brand development, perception, and identityExperience Delivering multi-channel integrated marketing campaignsExperience in F2F events ManagementExperience of running multiple different marketing campaigns (Podcasts, webinars, F2F events).
Qualifications and KnowledgeDegree or equivalent in a Marketing/Business related subject, or equivalent experience (Ideal, but not essential)GCSE C and above in English and Math'sStrong experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
