This role is a key one that sees you looking after a talent group of underwriting assistants, and it will be up to you to ensure underwriting operations for their specialty lines run smoothly. Whilst there are processes in place, this role will allow you to liaise with senior members of the business to put together strategy and structure that you see fit in line with their expectations. As this client is going through tremendous growth into new areas of insurance you will be able to make your mark and the role will offer interesting challenges throughout that will ensure your day-to-day is ever evolving and interesting.
What's needed for me to be considered?
To be considered for this role, you will have a background within insurance in the London market. During your career you will have strong knowledge of the underwriting process and the ability to be able to mentor and support those members of staff under you. As you will have significant exposure to senior management, the ability to communicate at all levels will be needed.
