Your next opportunity:Nigel Wright are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract to permanent role. Our client is based in the Darlington area and offers a hybrid working model.Your duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Accruals/prepayments, revenue and payroll journal postings
  • Providing resolution for billing issues
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining fixed asset register
  • Preparing management accounts with KPI;s including revenue and margin analysis
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Overall support and preparation of P&L, balance sheet and capital expenditure to ensure accurate month end accounting
As the ideal candidate:
  • Ideally studying toward accountancy qualifications (study support can be an option with this role)
  • Strong systems / Excel know how
  • A 'can do' attitude. Support and training will be given in the role so a keen drive and willingness to develop your skills and efficiencies in this post are what we seek.
  • Able to suggest ideas and show tenacity
  • Pride in accuracy and working in a timely manner to hit deadlines effectively
  • Able to work full time hours Monday - Friday with hybrid working available
