Would you enjoy a Full Stack Development role working with cutting edge technologies on projects that aim to make a difference around the world and which will directly affect people's lives for the better? Are you an experienced, creative developer who is looking for a real challenge and who wants to work with data visualisation and mapping Web applications? Then you may want to find out more about this role.

Be-IT is working on role where you will work on projects that focus on mapping and the visualisation of data. The applications of the core technology are numerous, ranging from flood disaster response to the reduction of illegal deforestation. You will be part of a development teams working on Projects straight away, assigned to tasks that suit your skills but you will learn and build new skills as part of this role.

Your Skills

These are a general overview of what we are looking for not a definitive list.

• Knowledge of JavaScript - React would be ideal but other frameworks also considered• Knowledge of Python - again Django ideal but happy to consider other frameworks• Working with REST APIs• Working knowledge of application architecture and design• Experience working within a development team using modern development tools (git, Jira etc.)• Interest or experience in data visualization• Interest or experience in GIS and mapping technologies
