The Business Connection are currently representing a thriving business in the heart of Chester city centre, with the search of an ambitious Operations Manager to come and head up their busy, fast paced Operations department. The key focus of the Operations Manager will be to motivate, develop and drive a team of Operations Support Co-ordinators to deliver the highest levels of communication quality, compliance and customer service.

Key responsibilities:
Accountability for team performance, including coaching and development
To build and maintain tracking systems for all documentation in and out of the business and reporting monthly KPIs for each of the regions
To support the team on chasing documentation from Business Development Managers, ensuring this is done in a timely manner
Ensuring Statutory Code is adhered to, using a reporting system which involves Operations Support team monitoring and agreeing the necessary documentation supporting this
Building and improving reports and implementing them to ensure agreements do not expire, thus enabling the team to work with BDMs for renewals of agreements
Creating and implementing business plan process and providing the necessary support for the team and BDMs, ensuring the company is compliant with the Statutory Code
To provide support to Regional Operations Directors and Business Development Managers daily and resolve any issues that may arise and escalate where necessary
Provide monthly reporting of expired agreements and reviews on substantive agreements and creating the necessary documentation to support compliance
Manage and develop individuals' performance to deliver set objectives through regular 1:1s offering coaching, training and feedback
Carry out monthly team meetings with Operations Support team
Facilitate and encourage a positive working environment and lead by example in line with company values
Essential Experience
Previous people management experience is essential
Proven track record in coaching and training staff in an office environment
Ability to positively influence and engage with colleagues and your team
Shows resilience when faced with challenging scenarios and the ability to identify solutions to resolve problems with a 'can-do' attitude
Flexibility, receptive and positive towards change
IT skills (Including all Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel)
Organised approach to working by demonstrating versatility and flexibility
Excellent communication skills (verbally and written) with good attention to detail
Be able to work at pace in a forever changing environment
