The External Engagement Execution Specialist works across the ESE team to drive internal and external engagement activities in line with AZ strategy and policy.
Role and Responsibilities
Operations
Develop a dashboard to lead monthly update of activities, analysing metrics to highlight outputs from activities and translate into presentable format.
Drive the communication plan on all external activities that are relevant to markets and wider organisation to increase awareness on HCP initiatives.
Management of the budget and the complexities of the grants, cross BPM updates and cross charging when projects have multiple funding groups.
Collect and provide updates on scorecards, drive development of slides for senior leaders meetings
Projects
IMPACT Academy project coordinator and prepare monthly analytics updates to internal partners
Management of the external systems keeping them up to date, analysing the requests through them and keep updated , as well as ensuring any external updates are completed
Project coordinator on maintenance and prepare monthly analytics updates to internal stakeholders on usage of evidence websites.
Maintain list of Local MC contacts for expert requests/activities to ensure smooth communication on external activity
Drive the engagement from the markets to have quarterly update on global guideline status, as well as collating any update to national guidelines as part of overall disease area plan.
Support the digital end to end platform development across CVRM
External Events
Support the medical ESE congress plan for ESE ensuring slides are up to date, working cross functionally in medical on process as well as getting the information to build the full cross functional picture.
Collate and publish the post-congress summaries on behalf of ESE team if required
Support the team on Med Educational, Social sessions, steering committee etc on process, communication and timeline
Assist with leading virtual & live (congress) engagements with KEEs (e.g. handling email invitations, work with agencies & local AZ teams, internal comms teams regarding Top Tier Requests)
Monthly report for the countries / regions to demonstrate activities which global is supporting around external experts
Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience
Bachelor's and advanced degree in a science subject area preferred
Ideally 6 years' experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
Advanced Excel, PPT, MSP and SharePoint skills
Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
Good scientific Knowledge
Experience in partnering and collaborating with external partners and agencies
Skills:
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and influence people across the business
Ability to operate with a high degree of independent judgement and initiative
Mandatory practical, working knowledge of Medical Affairs.
Confirmed experience in developing medical strategies and plans.
