Our Network Price Control Operations team is at the forefront of economic regulation, working to ensure that gas and electricity network companies provide value to consumers both now and in the future, and establishing and implementing the regulatory arrangements to support the target of Net Zero carbon emissions. The team are responsible for managing over 80bn of investment in gas and electricity networks over the next 10 years. They are also play a key role in facilitating the move to a low carbon energy sector, whilst continuing to provide safe, secure, high quality gas and electricity network services at value for money to consumers.

The successful candidates will join at an exciting and pivotal time. We are early into the second RIIO price control for electricity transmission, gas transmission, and gas distribution network companies (RIIO-2), and RIIO-2 for electricity distribution companies will be starting next year. There is important work ahead to close out the previous price controls (RIIO-1), to implement the various RIIO-2 mechanisms (such as reopeners), and to ensure that the network companies are held to account through effective reporting, monitoring, and enforcement. There are a number of roles available across the Network Price Control Operations team. Successful candidates will be appointed initially to work in areas that match their specific skillsets and interests. Following conclusion of the initial appointment there will be opportunities for individuals to work on different projects and areas with different focus.
