Position Overview:

The Marketing Exec is responsible for providing support in the smooth delivery of marketing activity within Identity. Working collaboratively with the marketing team as well as the Sales and Pitch teams to ensure marketing activity is timely and relevant in line with business needs.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
  • Support the HoM and wider marketing team as required on various projects
  • Manage and report on the marketing budget with monthly updates to the HOM
  • Manage the relationship with PR agencies and other external stakeholders and ensure these relationships remain highly effective for Identity's needs
  • Lead on award submissions and entries
  • Copywrite blogs, articles and proof reader marketing material
  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information working very closely with the CRM Manager
  • Event plan, manage and attend external events including speaker opportunities, conferences and event activations
  • Assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations and support with internal collateral
  • Support with website updates and changes
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company's presence in the market
  • Communicate directly with key stakeholders to build trusting relationships these include PR, Partnerships and Awards

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a marketing role taking responsibility for end-to-end projects
  • Previous experience in writing copy for both internal and external publication
  • To have the ability to think innovatively about promoting the Brand to the external market
  • Possess excellent writing and editing skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories both external and internally
  • Possess an exceptional eye for detail, essential for proofreading articles, social copy and when required, press releases
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with all stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company's success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and efficient attitude in finding innovative ideas and solutions
  • Team player to help support the marketing team
