Travel Ticketing Executive

Hybrid - Part Remote and Part Office - Central London

£30,000 + Bonuses

My client is a financially secure high end luxury travel company who specialise in high end beach holidays to worldwide destinations such as the Caribbean, USA, Indian Ocean, Far East and Middle East.

They are a direct sell online travel agent who have won several awards for excellence and customer service

As the travel industry rebounds, my client is expanding, and they are now recruiting for an experienced Ticketing Executive to join their team.

Applicants must have previous ticketing experience gained within the travel industry with working knowledge of Galileo.

The role is offered on a hybrid working basis.

Ticketing Executive Responsibilities:

Working on the Galileo GDS system to issue airline tickets

Ability to read history within the flight booking

Source all ticket endorsement and tour code information

Ensure airline ticket deadlines are adhered to in accordance with airline contracts and fare rules

Mange GDS queue's and assisting sourcing alternative route options on major schedule changes

Provide the final quality control check before ticketing and issuing client final travel documents

Dealing directly with the airlines if a problem arises to achieve a preferred outcome

Ensure that any process and procedures are followed at all times in regard to schedule changes

Ticketing Executive Experience Required:

Previous experience of working on Galileo within the travel industry

Previous experience of working on Galileo GDS contracts

To be able to read and understand airline fare rules

Experience of identifying the most restrictive ticket deadline

Previous experience of working with airline published fares

Experience of working with airline fare quotes and commands

Experience of sourcing correct ticket information

To be able to identify any errors made at booking stage in relation to the flight

Ticketing Executive Salary and Benefits:

Base salary to £30,000

20 days annual leave rising to 25 days + 8 bank holidays
