After-Sales Service Manager - Capital Kit
£50,000 - £60,000 + Personal Bonus + Profit Related Bonus + Car

The Business
Our client is an SME based in the Lancashire area who have been established for over 50 years, owned by a global engineering organisation. They are the most successful and profitable business in their group and have a lot of autonomy to grow their business as they see fit, with the wider group backing them where needed.
They design and manufacture highly technical / complicated machinery for the food industry. In terms of the culture, it is a very professional environment where they have an excellent reputation in the market. Although they are owned by a large corporate organisation, they still have a personal feel where every knows is on first name terms.
The Role
This is a new role due to growth in the business, our client is looking to significantly expand the after sales part of the business and is looking for a driven and committed person who can spearhead this new growth. This role would report directly into the group MD, working alongside him to come up with a strategic business plan on how to grow the after sales side of the business.

The Person
The right person for this role will be from a service or commissioning engineering background, with previous maintenance experience, and ideally be a multi skilled engineer mechanically and electrically. you will also have had previous after sales all sales management experience within an engineering or manufacturing business.

- Electrically or mechanically trained - HNC/HND minimum.
- Experience working in the food processing industry ideally, or wider FMCG.
- Experience working in sales and some strategic planning experience.
- This person will be highly driven and willing to travel internationally when required.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking directly with customers is essential.
- Good report writing skills and proficient with Excel and Word.
- Experience generating quotations or proposals would be beneficial.
