Are you a Data Protection Manager with specialist knowledge of Subject Access Requests (SARs) looking for a locum position?

We are recruiting to an outstanding position working as a Subject Access Requestss Team Manager within a highly-respected London Borough Council.

This assignment is an initial 3 month contract, with the view of extension on a rolling basis. They are looking to pay £38 - £42 per hour, umbrella rate, and are offering remote working, with one monthly team meeting in the office.

Our client is looking for somebody with public sector experience, specialist knowledge of data protection, in particular SARs, as well as some supervising/management experience to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
  • Supervising a team of 10+ paralegals dealing with SARs
  • General management duties i. timesheets, holidays, sick leave etc.
  • Providing extensive knowledge of data protection processes (SARs) to the team
  • Reporting into the Senior Lawyer

On offer is a competitive hourly rate, and the chance to progress within a management role, as the Senior Lawyer is keen to allow scope for progression within the local authority. Please note, in the future there is possibility of office requirement on a hybrid working basis.
