Our prestigious Automotive Events client is recruiting for a Marketing Lead to join their team.

This is an exciting and dynamic role to support the business and act as the key lead in all marketing activity to assist with delivery of events for one of the UK's most dynamic automotive events companies. You will be working with a variety of customers, delivering solutions and implementing ideas to ensure they have a positive experience, helping secure long-term relationships. The role will include attending live events to help ensure the smooth running. This is a hands-on role, creating, deploying and refining all marketing campaigns.
  • Own and manage brand guidelines for all design and content
  • Manage the company's social media presence and accounts, including deployment of paid for and organic campaigns, utilising partners and web content to interact and grow the companies social presence.
  • Oversee SEO and content planning
  • Working with the CEO, Set, execute and manage marketing strategy for the business
  • Liaise with partner marketing teams to ensure contractual support is being delivered.
  • Highlight partner and marketing opportunities to expand the brand reach
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of website content, working with suppliers and partners to utilise this for all social outlets.
  • Work with the CEO on video campaigns for social and website use
  • Manage and develop email marketing database, including delivery of monthly customer comms.
  • Manage partners to ensure that show content is being shared with key partners and on their social feeds. Work with partners to maximise shared marketing campaigns
  • Highlight opportunities to work with additional partners on both contra and paid for deals
  • Work with content suppliers, show hosts and other supporters to ensure exposure is maximised.
  • Work with team on development and design on assets for both social, out of home and event use
  • Provide weekly marketing reports to management team, helping highlight opportunities.

The successful candidate will have previous hands on marketing experience. With experience of website management, social media management and SEO/PPC. Ideally they will have worked in a small fast paced environment, be confident dealing with customers and colleagues and have good organisational skills, they MUST have a good attention to detail. Experience working in the Automotive or events industry is a distinct advantage.

Our client is looking for someone to own marketing in entirety and grow with the business as we expand

Essential Skills:
  • Experience of googleanalytics
  • Knowledge of PPC and SEO, deployment and analysis
  • A minimum of 3 years hands on marketing experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Methodical with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative without supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy office
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Flexible approach and willing to work long hours during live events
  • Full driving license

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong creativity, balanced with a good understanding of marketing practice. They must be hands on and not afraid of getting involved in all aspects of the business to deliver to plan (ticket sales and event awareness). They must have an outgoing personality, be easy to talk to with, a good sense of humour and demonstrate a natural ability to work in a team environment.

An ability to generate their own content is a distinct advantage, as in an interest in automotive, but not essential. Well organised and a confident demeanour is the key requirement to the success of this role

The role is full time, 35 Hours per week. A flexible approach is essential as you will be required to work outside of normal hours to support events.
