The Corporate Account Manager role is key to the successful organic growth of my client and their existing customers. As a seasoned account manager, you will be driven and motivated to sell the full catalogue of Blake products in a targeted strategical manner to your portfolio of clients, while trying to grow this portfolio at every opportunity. This role is key to the growth and success of my client as a business with a high expectation on performance being at its highest.
You will have the opportunity to work our largest corporate customers and will need to be comfortable holding or attending business meetings at all levels. There will be the daily orders coming through from your portfolio that you will need to cross sell and up sell at every opportunity. There will also be the proactive side where you are managing the accounts that have had a drop in spend over the last twelve months.
Your clients will need constant attention and organisation is key to keeping on top of this. Where they may be some natural flow of clients you will be responsible for keeping a close eye on further customers for topping your portfolio up whenever possible.
A basic salary of £40,000 plus an OTE starting at £5,000 (Uncapped Annual Bonus).

Primary responsibilities:
Manage and grow your portfolio of accounts annual spend to keep them in line with budgetary expectations.
You will build meaningful relationships with your clients where they will think of you first when considering using products that we can supply as a business.
Pitching products and/or services and make sure that at a every opportunity you have dealt their every need and offered the best solution.
Maintaining relationships with existing customers ensuring growth through cross sell and up sell where possible.
Day-to-day activities include:
Chasing down your portfolio to make sure the orders are coming in our direction.
Keeping the CRM up to date with all communications to existing clients.
Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets to help grow your portfolio of clients.
Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes purchasing decision while nurturing those relationships with a clear plan to onboard them at the perfect time.
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Other activities include:
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
Working closely with the Sales team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers and effective handling of existing customer's.
Qualities Required:
To be an effective Account Manager, an individual must be:
Proven track record of success within a new business role
Good with numbers
Able to work collaboratively with all departments which is key to the success of this role
Ambitious and motivated by success and progression
Full of energy to throw at the role
Skills needed include:
Strong communication and IT fluency
Effective pipeline and time management
Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems and being able to think outside of the box
Excellent time management and organisation
The ability to negotiate
