Accounts Assistant, Immediate start! £18.00 - £20.00 PH - MUST have experience in Xero!

This small and owner run company is currently seeking a dedicated multitasker to join their small and friendly team. With strong previous experience and excellent knowledge of Xero, you will perform a varied range of tasks alongside the Director, including:

• Acting as first point of contact for any Accounts incoming telephone calls
• Managing the Accounts inbox responding to queries
Handling all aspects of Credit Control including debt chasing, sending statements etc.
• Posting transactions to the accounting databases to accurately maintain the Sales and Purchase Ledger and organising payment runs for authorisation
• Setting up new clients/suppliers and Processing general ledger journals
• Completing Bank Reconciliations
• Providing reports on debtor days

Along with answering telephones and supporting the business owner with any other tasks required to support the business run smoothly.

Our client is very flexible offering 9-3 / 10-3 / 8-2 part time hours Monday to Friday allowing this role to fit in perfectly with school runs without having to arrange extra child care.
