Exciting Senior Category Manager role working for fantastic forward-thinking, highly collaborative organisation in Birmingham or London. This role is initially being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the development of sourcing and negotiation strategies.
Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and advise on current business requirements, future needs and expectations as it relates to procurement and vendor management.
Provide guidance on vendor selection and management to internal stakeholders.
Analyse spend data and reports to develop new sourcing opportunities.
Oversee RFI/RFP for all sourcing projects and manage responses.
Develop vendor management strategy alongside procurement colleagues.
Develop and implement performance measurement processes to ensure contracted service levels are met and value for money is achieved through the life of contracts
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that service is being delivered according to contracts and that value for money is maintained

Key Requirements:

IT Procurement experience desired but not essential.
CIPS or MCIPS qualified preferred.
Vendor and Contract management experience
