The role

To lead the operations of Language Services Direct government focussed delivery, an experienced senior professional is needed to join the team as Operations Manager.

This is a great opportunity for you to lead and manage a large team of teaching and non-teaching staff to contribute to the foreign language abilities of senior civilian and non-civilian officials, who in turn would have a significant impact on global and national interests.

What will you be doing?
  • Managing key contractual relationships
  • Strategic delivery of contracts through managing change, focusing on continuous improvement and delivering value for money
  • Managing the teaching and non-teaching teams to deliver based on KPIs
  • Develop partnerships with other stakeholders to create best in class learner experiences and outcomes

Who are they looking for?
  • Experience working with Central Government stakeholders managing and delivering contracts
  • A minimum of five years in a management position leading large teams of people
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work alongside external and internal constituents to deliver results
  • Strong technology and process skills

The key details

Location: Primarily at offices in SE1 and Whitehall, London, with some flexibility for WFH

Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 + performance bonus

⏰ Working hours: Mon - Fri
