Role: Senior Project Manager

Location: West Midlands - Hybrid working

Type: Temporary - Full Time

Duration: Circa 12 months

Hourly rate: £200 to £350 per day

Senior Project Manager required to join a vibrant Finance, Information and Performance team who are committed to widespread digital and service improvement projects aimed at maximising benefits of scale and efficiencies through joint collaboration. This involves projects specifically focussed in increasing automation to back-office finance function, improving timely access to management data to support leadership decision making and initiatives to standardise and enhance data analytics.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be required to ensure that projects are appropriately scoped; initialised and planned outputs are delivered to time, quality and budget in order to support the realisation of a digital transformation.

You will also be responsible for defining the benefits, assessing progress towards realisation, and achieving measured improvements. This role will evolve to take responsibility for the delivery of projects, establishing and maintaining the correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables of the programme.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager:

Identify and manage the full range of internal and external customers and stakeholders relevant to the project
Provide effective consultancy, direction, advice and influence in a number of differing roles
Manage complex and politically sensitive relationships
Participate in strategic decision making to develop and optimise the programme
Manage direct and indirect resources to achieve goals
Manage the delivery of assigned projects
Undertake analysisPerson Specification for the Senior Project Manager

Experienced in Project Management
Specialist knowledge of project management practices
The ability to plan, track analyse and report
Strong stakeholder engagement skillsThis role requires a highly motivated individual able to demonstrate leadership and problem solving skills. The post holder will be required to make a contribution to the management and on-going development of the Programme.
